These shoes are classic elegance, with advantages that only 21^st century technology can offer.  The upper material is a low maintenance, man-made leather that looks and feels as though it was cut from the finest hides.  This material will polish and gain patina, just like great leather.  The inner construction provides phenomenal support and only in the most expensive leather paddock shoes, will you find insoles that give this much comfort.  The shoes are lined with a special fabric to assist in the wicking away of moisture, affording year round comfort.  The spur stud is correctly placed and solidly fixed.  There is a well-conceived tread on the heels and soles that gives great traction, but is not so densely rigid that one has the feeling of being trapped or stuck in the irons.
