Shipping Policy


Most orders will ship out of our facility within two business days. Please note that our Shipping Department is open Monday-Friday, so orders cannot be processed and shipped on Saturdays or Sundays. Because of the large variety of products that we carry, some items are not held in our store stock and, therefore, need to be ordered from the supplier. The reason we do this is to give you the fantastic prices that you see on the site. The trade-off for the great prices may be a short wait for some items. If an item is backordered for more than 10 days, we will contact you to make you aware of the situation and try to update you on an expected due date.

The standard shipping rate for orders placed within the Continental USA is based on the total amount of your order. Please see below.

Alaska & Hawaii:
All orders shipped to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped as “F.O.B.” (Freight on Buyer). This means that you will pay the actual shipping costs rather than the standard rates listed above. F.O.B. rates will not show at the time you place an order. We will e-mail you the F.O.B. shipping cost for your approval. If you contact us to approve the shipping amount, we will charge the same credit card you used to place the order, or, if you used PayPal, we will send you an invoice through PayPal that you will need to pay. If you do not wish to pay the shipping amount, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund. We will not ship your order until we receive your authorization for the F.O.B. charges.

Expedited Orders:
If you choose to have an order expedited, the order must be received by us no later than 12:00PM EST in order for it to be processed that day. Please include a comment on your order (use the “Special Instructions or Order Comments” box during checkout) to let us know (a) the date you need to receive your order and (b) the maximum amount of money you are willing to pay for shipping. We need to know those two things so that we can supply you with an accurate shipping quote. We will not ship your order until we receive your authorization for the additional charges.

International Orders:
Shipping rates for orders shipping to countries other than the USA are based on the country in the delivery address. The shipping chart above does not apply to international shipments. The international shipping cost will show when you are placing your order. If the entire order does not fit inside one standard size box, we will ship the additional boxes for only $18.00 each. In that case, we will e-mail you for approval of the extra charge. If you are an international customer, please be sure to check for e-mails from us regarding your order. If your order does not fit in one standard size box, we will not ship your order until we receive your authorization for the additional charges.

 

Return Policy


Please inspect your items and try them on (if applicable) immediately upon receipt. Shortages or discrepancies (items/quantities in box that do not match the sales receipt) must be reported to us within 10 days of you receiving the shipment. Please take the appropriate precautions when trying items on your horse to make sure they stay clean and free of horse hair/dirt.

Unacceptable Returns:
Used, dirty, full of animal hair, abused, incomplete items, or items without original packaging and/or tags may not be returned. If they are, they will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense. Items that are not returnable include, but are not limited to: any item(s) that offer custom options, bits and bottle goods.

Saddle Returns/Exchanges:
Saddles may be returned or exchanged within 3 days of receipt of saddle, but only if it is in new, unused condition. They may not be ridden in and no wear marks may be visible. Shipping for all returns and exchanges is at your expense. If the saddle shows any signs of usage, wear on flap, scratches, wear on billets, etc. you will automatically be charged up to 50% of the saddle’s value. If you return a saddle to us for a refund, you will be charged $25.00 for the initial shipment of the order. If you exchange a saddle to a different size or for any other saddle, you will be charged the exchange shipping costs.

General Return Policy:
Returned items must be in new condition with a copy of the sales receipt and all packaging/tags in place within 30 days of receipt. We require a Return Authorization Number that you may receive from a Horse Tack Co. representative. Shipping costs on returns and exchanges are at the customer’s expense unless there was a mistake done on our part. Please do not write on boot boxes – they must be placed in another box, or a mailing bag.

Items purchased during special sales may be exchanged for like items and the special pricing will be applied to the exchange item(s). Non-like exchanges will not carry over the special pricing.

How to Return an Item:

2.     Include a copy of your receipt with the Return Authorization Number written on it as well as the reason for return and have exchange information clearly stated on the front.

3.     Pack it up (please do not write on boot boxes – they must be placed in a mailing bag or in another box) and send to:

4.     If returning for an exchange, we will charge the standard shipping amount to the same credit card you used to place your order, or, if you used PayPal, we will send you a PayPal invoice.
