The health card is a requirement in the world of Eventing.  The United States Eventing Association now requires that all riders in sanctioned events carry their medical records on there person at all times and that it must be clearly seen. 
For anyone that rides to have this information handy in case of an emergency, can save valuable time if your are injured.

This band has the rider’s name, phone number, address, and other personal information, as well as information about blood type, allergies and physicians.
