Horse Thrush Remedies

Most horse will get Thrush at one time or another. It is a fungus that appear on the frog of the horses hoof and has a foul order. Thrush can eat way at the hoof tissue mostly in the frog area. Thrush can cause some mild discomfort but most of the time, if taken care of quickly, will not cause any harm. However, if left untreated it can travel into the sensitive tissue causing bleeding. Many thrush remedies kill tissue while killing thrush. Thrush lives on the ground and thrives on dead tissue. So if while treating Thrush, tissue is killed the thrush that is on the ground finds it's way back on the horses hoof and has a perfect host. Horsetack Co. recommends Thrush Bomb or Fungi because it will kill Thrush but does not kill tissue.
