Three Day Eventing Horse Tack
A three day test of horse and rider. Day one is a dressage test, Concours Complete International (CCI) is a speed and endurance test over cross country and day three is show jumping. This was originally a military test and consisted of a four day event. Few if any of these are still held due to space money and the fact that only a few countries could could field a qualifying team. The IOC stated that these issue had to be solved or the sport would be dropped from the Olympics. These test are meant to determine the abilities of both horse and rider. They test the fitness of the horse after days of use and the ability of the rider to communicate with his or her mount. After two days of eventing the horse must demonstrate the retention of suppleness, energy and obedience while continuing in service. The show jumping phase requires that the horse jumps between ten and thirteen obstacles at a pace of 350 meters per minute. The test only allows 60 and 78 seconds to complete. Horse Tack Company is proud to supply these wonderful athletes with quality Eventing Tack and safety equipment..
